How to delete your account

You can delete your U-Bear account directly from within the app at any time:

1. Open the U-Bear app on your device.
2. Tap your profile photo → go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm deletion. Your account and associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Can't access the app?

If you are unable to access the app, you can submit a deletion request by emailing us at hello@u-bear.com with the subject line "Delete My Account" and your registered email address. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Profile information (display name, photos, bio, preferences)
• Messages and chat history
• Connections, followers, and activity history
• Location data
• Account credentials (email address and login data)

Data we may retain

Some data may be retained after deletion for legal or safety reasons:

• Subscription and billing records — retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations.
• Abuse and safety reports — retained for up to 1 year to protect the safety of other users and comply with platform integrity requirements.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
