U-Bear respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we may use it, and what choices you have when using our mobile application and website.
We may collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email, photos, birthdate, and location when you create an account. We also collect device information, usage analytics (Firebase Analytics), and approximate location data to show you nearby profiles and quests.
We may use your information to operate the app, show nearby profiles and quests, send push notifications, improve the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We may send you push notifications about new messages, connections, and app updates. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate U-Bear: Supabase (database and authentication), Firebase (analytics), RevenueCat (subscriptions), and Apple/Google (app distribution). Data is shared only as reasonably necessary.
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law or needed for legitimate business purposes.
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure. You should avoid sending sensitive personal information through channels that are not intended for it.
U-Bear is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 17. If we learn such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
Because U-Bear may be accessed from multiple countries, your information may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own, subject to applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
U-Bear collects your approximate location (with your permission) to show nearby profiles and suggest quests in your city. Location data is not shared with other users beyond what you choose to display. You can revoke location permission in your device settings at any time.
U-Bear may request access to your camera and photo library to let you upload profile photos, share images in chat, and complete identity verification. Photos you upload are stored securely and displayed only as part of the service.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. You may also opt out of non-essential data processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below or use the Delete Account feature in the app. We will respond within 30 days.
U-Bear uses Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not participate in cross-app advertising tracking.
